12th Annual Visionary Luncheon Photo Gallery

Tender Steps of New York, Inc. (TSONY) proudly hosted its 12th Annual Visionary Luncheon, bringing together community leaders, educators, students, sponsors, and supporters to celebrate the transformative power of Growth, Engagement, and Mentorship.

This year’s theme, GEMS: Growth, Engagement, and Mentorship Leads to Success, highlighted the importance of investing in young people and creating opportunities that empower them to thrive academically, professionally, and personally.

The luncheon recognized outstanding student leaders, scholarship recipients, community partners, and advocates who continue to make a meaningful impact throughout Rockland County and beyond. Through inspiring stories, scholarship presentations, and community fellowship, the event reinforced TSONY’s commitment to supporting youth and strengthening communities through education, mentorship, and service.

Honoring Excellence

The event celebrated the achievements of exceptional students, including:

• Pablo Monzon-Lemus, Valedictorian, Spring Valley High School

• Chinenmelum Maduekwe, Valedictorian, Ramapo High School

Scholarship recipients recognized during the luncheon included:

• Markalah Henry – Educational Trust of Hannah and Juliet Rossman Award

• Myeira Henry – Guillermo Linares Award and Jared Lloyd Memorial Scholarship

• Junior Cecilio Bravo – Robert “Bob” Cohen Memorial Scholarship

These students exemplify the determination, leadership, and resilience that TSONY strives to nurture through its programs and community partnerships.
