Tender Steps of New York, Inc. partnered with Harbor Heights Middle School (MS 349) to host a six-part, Spanish-language parenting workshop series — created specifically for the school's Spanish-speaking families, and facilitated by TSONY Founder & President Evelyn Bautista-Miller.

Held over the course of five weeks in May and June, the series covered a different theme each session, giving parents and caregivers practical tools to support their children at home:
Las 5 E en la crianza de los hijos — The 5 E's of raising children
Cómo crear una familia saludable — Building healthy relationships between parents, guardians, and caregivers
Estilos de crianza efectivos — Effective parenting styles for today's lifestyle
Cómo apoyar eficazmente las expectativas de su hijo/a — Supporting your child's expectations
Seguridad en Internet — Navigating internet safety for your child
Reconectarse con su hijo/a — Ways to reconnect with your child
The series reflects TSONY's ongoing commitment to bilingual, culturally-responsive family programming — meeting parents where they are, in the language they're most comfortable in, with real tools they can use at home.
We're grateful to Harbor Heights MS 349 for partnering with us to bring this series directly into the school community — truly "building bridges between knowledge and action."
